Ah, yes, the 'Penny Loafer' parents. 'Pretend liberals,' I call them. The NYT, 'too liberal.' With their "yes, but..." bothsiderism? Have your read the Times? David Brooks, Ross Douthat or Maureen Dowd?

These parents might think they're liberals. You ever ask them where they went to college? Probably Trinity, Connecticut College, Hofstra or Hamilton (where my late cousin was a grad assistant) or maybe they really did attend Princeton or Penn. But no matter, they see their 'success' and 'intellect' as being hereditary. It's not. Plain and simple.
