That's not what he said in his autobiography or when she was alive. Everyone over 60 in LA has stories about her. I knew a girl, a model, who got her Coke from her, even after Smith got out of prison. (she 'borrowed' $50 from me -back when I had no money) She lived in Detroit, but was based in New York and LA. This was at least 35 years ago, maybe longer. Weird, how reading something can bring back memories. Thanks.
