“But if Bernie becomes the nominee? It will all come out. Everything. We don’t know what it might be, but we can be sure it won’t be pretty. Trump keeps boosting Bernie, using Bernie to accuse the Left of rigging the election.”
After the 2016 disaster, Kurt Eichenwald laid into a man who voted for Jill Stein. He pointed out the GOP had 3,000 pages on Bernie. He fathered a son out of wedlock, his wife’s stock portfolio, his support of Castro, his being kicked out of a commune “because he didn’t (do anything).” The list is long. Don’t think for one minute the Democratic Party doesn’t know this, either.
Here’s the deal: I don’t think any candidate gets to 1,991+1 to win on the first ballot. This is why Biden’s win in South Carolina is so important. Because it does give him another month to catch up to Sanders. A lot of these states (Tennessee, Virginia, Arkansas, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Alabama) are states that could easily negate what appears to be a California win for Sanders Tuesday night. We shall see.
