From Nancy Kaffer, Detroit Free Press:

"It seems the U.S. Supreme Court will ultimately decide the fate of mifepristone, a prospect that should fill no one with confidence. It's the same court that threw out 49 years of precedent last year by overturning Roe. Our current situation is the outcome of years of diligent effort by the anti-abortion movement ― managing the judiciary, relentless passage in red states of laws restricting abortion, an everything-at-the-wall legal strategy.

This ought to make you angry. And I hope it makes you fight. All of the energy Michiganders dedicated to Prop 3 last year, turning out for the midterms, standing in line for hours to register to vote ― we need that vigor in next year's presidential election. And in the midterm elections after that, and in the presidential election after that. It's never going to be over — because the goal of the anti-abortion movement is to make abortion illegal in this country. Full stop."
