I agree with everything you wrote. However, I was involved in an abusive relationship where my ex and her mother (hands down the most mendacitos, miserable and mean person I've ever met) flipped the script. They harassed me until I left. Even the five-year-old daughter yelled at me. If I'd stayed, I'd be dead by now. I'm going to write about it next year.
