I have a saying, “Vote for who you like in the Primary, but who you have to in the General.” I voted for Bernie in the Michigan Primary, Clinton in the General. I was never a “Bernie or Buster.” I like Bernie. But as I said many times on my blog, I wish the ‘Geritol Set’ (Sanders, Warren and Biden) would have sat this one out and you can add Tom Steyer and Bloomberg to that list as well. The most ‘electable’ candidate on the Democratic side DIDN’T run. Sherrod Brown. He would have cleaned Trump’s clock. Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota. I was for Amy Kolbuchar, but now, I’m undecided. Bloomberg is running in the ‘Super Tuesday’ states to hope for a contested Convention, so he can play broker. Remember, he discounted a third-party run in 2016 because he couldn’t stand the thought of Mrs. Clinton winning. So, there’s that. Also, the GOP had a 700-page dossier on Sanders had he somehow won the nomination. People forget that. Susan Sarandon can stomp her feet all she wants, but whoever the nominee is, we have to vote for that person.
