I knew a guy (knew being the key word) who was nominated for an Academy Award for sound. He was also fired from a movie where he made a snarky remark to the director. He told me once that most people in Hollywood have no talent and act like fools. This isn't 'white-male privilege' as much as it is being a self-absorbed asshole. Would you say the same if it was Lee Daniels or Spike Lee if they made the speech?
