If you saw the Stones in a small venue, like the Masonic Temple in Detroit, or outside (Pine Knob, Red Rocks, etc.), they were fantastic. Big stadium's, not so much.

The truth is that none of these bands were very good live, even in small venues, with a few exceptions - The Who, J. Giles, Seger - because they were always recording.
