In the last week, the benchmark price of oil has dropped from $120 to around $105. Yet gas prices are still averaging $4.75-5.00 in most of the country. You talk about Stagflation, but it's really about deflation. Japan went through a long stretch of this from roughly 1990 until 2011. Deflation is where the cost of everything keeps going up, where everything else (wages, earnings, stocks, etc.) keep decreasing. When Amazon and Walmart and Big Tech start seeing their earnings and stock price start to drop, maybe then is when you'll see the reversal. The elites and politicans will then be confronted with their hubris and forced to change course.
