It's disheartining, because I was on the first social media site, sixdegrees, way back in the nacent 90s. Truely, a kindler, gentler site.

Plenty of people, professional and not, have blogged for a long time. Including me. Started out at WordPress, then Medium and now substack and Medium.

Social media was fun when it started. MSN chat, messenger, Yahoo messenger, etc. It wasn't until Myspace came along that it began to change. Twitter (X) I joined, left, joined, left, and then finally left once Musk took over. It has no revelance to anything, really. I hardly evver used it to begin with.
