It's like...You don't go bankrupt overnight (unless you're into Crypto). Gradually, then suddenly. That's the way most countries, empires, cultures end. Look at Africa. Imperial Europe sliced the continent up like a flank steak and 60 years later, there's still residue left over. It will take years, decades for it to happen, but America will fade away, just like the British Empire, Dutch, Belgian and other expansive nations have.
