Miss Weiss' departure from the Times says more about her than it does about free speech. 2/5 she'll be on Maher in two weeks. What does need to stop is self-censorship of one's opinions. If someone doesn't like it, so what? The signers of the Harper's letter/editorial, all were speaking the truth. These people are scared shitless of a second term of this mistake, so what's everyone got the knickers up their rear ends about?

I've read Bari Weiss' columns and I think, give her another 10 years, and she might be decent. Right now, she's a work in progress. That she didn't take David Brooks, Tom Friedman, and a few others with her is a shame.
