Most of the songs on there were novelty hits. "Tiny Tim's" hit made Phyllis Diller sound normal. True story about The Monkees and Archie's - After turning down "Sugar, Sugar" and a few others, Don Kirshner then started "The Archie's," as a cartoon and then at the end of their only season, released "S,S," using just unknowns and studio musicians, who were paid scale. Ron Dante and Toni Wine were the lead/backup vocalists. Dante later sued and won an undisclosed amount of money.
