My dad died last year. We still haven't had a proper good-bye for him yet. Being that the border with Canada was closed at the time, I understood. But, look at what happened once the border re-opened? My step-father has maybe a 50/50 chance to make his birthday in a month. My mother is 85. She and her great-granddaughter are there, in North Carolina, but his own kids and grandkids have nothing to do with him. It's maddening.
