Nice story. Typical. I knew someone who’s daughter was an Au Pair for the 1% in my city. She is now nearly 40 and married. The money she made helped her get through college, but she did lose a job because the wife/mother thought she was having an affair with her husband. He was, but not with her. I also know someone who was a foreign Au Pair (from Germany) who lived with a professional athlete. She then, after returning home, married a famous athlete in Germany. Funny, how life imitates itself.
