This is example 1,051 of why liberals lose. We split infinitives over split infinitives. As a fictional newsman once said, 'if liberals are so goddamn smart, how come they lose so goddamn often?'

I'll tell you why. It's because of shit like this. It's how we lost in 1968 to Nixon, Agnew and Wallace. It's how we lost in 1980 to a B-movie actor and his shrill of a wife, it's how we lost in 2000 and 2004 to a guy who traded Sammy Sosa, and it's how we lost in 2016 to a brazen, libidinous asshole who's aged everyone of us beyond our years.

We need to stop the petty bullshit, the purity fights. In 35 years, the cost of an education has gone from reasonable to astronomical (much like your chances of getting a Royal Fizbin on Beta Antares IV). There are people who graduate today with a B.A. or a similar four-year degree who will never pay off their student loans. NEVER. And yet you assail Jill Biden for her title. You're no better than the asshole who patronized her ('kiddo' in the lede? Even old Bill Safire is rolling in his grave and Peggy Nonnan just drank a whole bottle of Grey Goose over that one) by asserting that those who call themselves "Doctor" should be well, Medical, and not professional. My late cousin had a doctorate in psychology. I took 700-level courses while in college, even though I never graduated. Does that make me any more - or less smart than you or anyone else? No.

We need to stop this. Three days ago, yesterday. If Jill Biden wants to be called "Dr.," that's her choice. Not yours, mine or anyone else's.
