So, we come to the end of another decade. A decade of darkness, detachment and disillusionment. May the last 10 years fade into the rear-view mirror and hope in a decade we’re all still here and not living in New Zealand, Canada or on some Yurt in the Indian Ocean.

19. Bad: Robin Williams died. In 2014. The world is a much sadder place.

18. Good: Osama bin Laden killed. By the guy sitting to the right of the General:

17. Good and Bad: Mobile phones. They’re convenient, annoying, addicting, great to have, but they’re just another extension of Big Brother.

16. Bad: The scandals in Olympic and College Athletics. Larry Nassar, Jerry Sandusky, Baylor, Gymnastics, it never ends it seems.

15. Good: The #MeToo and #TimesUp movement. Men behaving badly. (Some) women as well.

14. Bad: Racism. It’s still around and somehow thriving. I wonder why?

13. Good: TV. Great decade for shows.

12. Bad: J.J. Abrams. You don’t kill Han Solo.

11. Good: The Documentaries about the Frye Festival and Elizabeth Holmes.

10: Bad: Billy McFarland and Elizabeth Holmes.

9: Good: US Women’s Soccer. Back-to-back World Cup’s.
