10) I support the Writers Guild strike. I wrote three scripts for a local producer 25–30 years ago and was promised the Moon, stars and Mars and got zilch. Writers are undervalued and never paid their worth (unless you get very, very fortunate).

@WGAWest

9) RIP, Gordon Lightfoot and Harry Belafonte. Two seminal performers who transcended their performances into timeless classics.

8) Bob Huggins attacked the LQBTQ+ community and Catholics on the radio and didn’t get fired. Neither did the radio hosts who egged him on. He was ‘suspended’ for three games and docked a cool million in pay. He still makes $3.1 million a year.

7) Nothing beats the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Especially overtime.

6) E. Jean Carroll wasn’t the first, or the last.

5) The Tigers are going to have to cut Miguel Cabrera soon. He’s got 45 years of life left and one twist of the leg and he’s limping for the rest of it. Make him a coach or something for the rest of the season. Hitting below the Mendoza line is embarrassing. For both him and the club.

4) Since last October, I haven’t been able to use my right hand fully. It reminds me that my disability is still there, no matter what I do or don’t do.
