The Committee Gets Busy
Yesterday, the House Select Committee investigating the January 6th attempted coup finally started getting to brass tacks and bare knuckles. This came after Friday’s long-delayed vote to pass the infrastructure bill that had been languishing in the lower chamber since July. Which was being held up by some never-gonna-happen, pie-in-the-sky Democratic fever dream to pass both the infrastructure and social spending bill at the same time.
Which also happened because Terry McAuliffe lost in Virginia. Nothing gets politicians attention like losing. Which brings us to yesterday’s events and the reason why we’re finally seeing something (and people of consequence) starting to move towards the truth.
Those receiving subpoenas include John Eastman, the lawyer who wrote the memo on how Vice President Pence could reject Electoral College votes from Georgia, Arizona and Pennsylvania, allowing for Trump to win. Michael T. Flynn, who argued for the previous occupant* to employ the military to seize and confiscate every voting machine in seven states and declare Martial Law. Along with former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik, who served three years in the Federal Fun House and participated in a series of meetings between December 30 and January 5th to “Stop the Steal.”
The others include campaign manager Bill Stepien, deputy campaign manager Jason Miller and national campaign assistant Angela McCallum, who left a voicemail for an unknown Michigan state representative requesting an alternate slate of Electors in a…
