The Unconscionable Presidency

Just when you think it can’t get any lower, it does. Just when you think it can’t get any worse, it does. Just when you think it can’t get any weirder, it does.
Just when you think the current occupant* can’t get any more racist, he does.
For eight years, we put up with false narratives from our friends, family, neighbors, hate radio and Fixed News about President Obama. The litany of lies, distortions and outright nonsense about the 44th President I don’t have to repeat, but they are still there, ready to be fired up at a moment’s notice.
President Obama wasn’t perfect, nor did he ‘save’ our country. But the hysterics and obstruction, which started, infamously, the night of his inauguration and lasted right up until the last day of his presidency is what gave us the mess we’re in some 900 days later.
On the last day of his presidency, Charles P. Pierce of Esquire wrote an extremely poignant piece about President Obama and the horrors we knew were on the horizon:
