There's a lot of stories about him. I read his autobiography in the 70s. It wasn't worth much, but there were stories that came out later, after Bandstand went off ABC , detailing how the age requirements were broke (the original ages in the 50s were 15-19) and the set was a cesspool of sex and drugs. Clark himself was never accused of anything improper along those lines, but some girls got in as young as 12 in later years and some men in their 20s who weren't supposed to be there got in using fake ID's. Surprised? I think not.
