You fail to mention that you have paid (well-paid, I might add) CPA's doing your taxes. Those CPA's know every loophole in the system and exploit it for your benefit. The rest of us have H&R Block and a person who makes $12 an hour, part-time, or a cousin who studied accounting at State U and is 'really good with numbers.' That's why everything the Disney's, et. al., who inherited millions and want for nothing, don't ever have to deal with people like me. To them, I am a burden and even though I have accomplished some pretty fantastic things in my 62+ years, I somehow don't count because of my disability. Because I have Cerebral Palsy and confined to a wheelchair makes me a burden. Hardly, but I am seen that way by many, including my own family.
Abigail, I understand your reasoning, but you say your not materialistic, yet you fly private jet and have no idea what it's like to live on next to nothing and have to rely on friends to help you get from point A to point B or C. I read where Jeff Bezos' ex-wife, now married to a teacher, is trying to give away all her money, but can't because she owns stock in Amazon. The problems of the rich that we commoners will never have to face, I suppose. I'm not attacking you, just pointing out facts.
